Sierra Leone Alliance Food Program Update

The Sierra Leone Alliance Food program is a grassroots effort to supply money for wholesome food for quarantined individuals during the Ebola crisis. This program was born out of the need to help our friends in Sierra Leone during one of the worst Ebola outbreaks in history. The program is to provide food for those who are quarantined (in house confinement) so they do not break the 15 day quarantine in search of food and potentially spread the Ebola disease if they should have it.

The program has been in effect for 2 full months now (Nov and Dec). Our partners on the ground in Sierra Leone have been able to reach out and help 8 of the 14 districts with this program. Our partners are doing amazing work! In December 2014, our program fed 1,371 people!

We are currently running a "Pledge 10" campaign which encourages people to pledge $10 (or more) to this program and to ask 10 contacts to do the same. You can give directly to the food program by clicking here. Our goal is to raise $5,000. Please help us by spreading the word about this! We need your help to reach our goal! Please take the time to give and to pray for those in Sierra Leone.
